Dancing, Families and Hot Soup Are Good
For the Spirit
Steve followed up by demonstrating the basic traditional dance steps. Several times Terry shared some basics on song structure and how to listen for the song and the drum beats to stop. All important elements of all the dance styles.
While finishing up the meal the Singers started up more songs and the dancers were back into the circle. They also took some Special Requests. Such enthusiasm touches the heart and tells us these traditions will endure. We all had a great time sharing and being together in our Indian community. As often happens, we had new families and individuals making their way to Soaring Eagles for the first time. Welcome! It makes us feel good in our hearts that the Soaring Eagles has the foundation and commitment of so many to be there and endure. Thanks again to all who helped make that possible and we hope to see you at the next Soaring Eagles Workshop. Please mark your calendars of performances and
